On October 6, 2017, the lecture meeting “About ASEAN members and Japan-Vietnam friendship” was held by Consul General Mr. Tran Duc Binh. We also had talks with Consul Kieu Manh Linh, Director Mr. Kasahara and Mr. Oike in The Society of Japan-Vietnam Kansai.

First, OCU Vice-President Sakuragi gave an address of welcome. After that, Consul General Mr. Tran Duc Binh exchanged opinions with Prof. Odanaka, Director of Global Exchange Office, Prof. Kubo, Vice-Director of Global Exchange Office, Prof. Kawada, Medical Science, researchers in Prof. Kawada’s laboratory and international students from Vietnam. In questions and answers, some students asked Consul General Mr. Tran Duc Binh about ASEAN countries and Vietnamese economy eagerly. OCU will have an active relationship with Vietnam from now on.
